Congress can regulate sports gambling directly, but if it elects not to do so, each state is free to act on its own. Our job is tin interpret the law Congress has enacted and decide whether it is consistent with the Constitution<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Associated Press, the&nbsp;<strong>US Supreme Court&#8217;s decision will likely lead to the sports betting legalization in 32 states<\/strong> within the next half a decade. The consequences? <strong>The&nbsp;legal sports betting could end up being more than a $57bn annual market.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">First states to introduce legal sportsbook &#8211; likely<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the power to legalize sports betting handed to the states, it\u2019s now a <strong>race to see who can capitalize most<\/strong> on the fact that <strong>a whole lot of people like to bet on sports.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Almost certainly, <strong>the first states to introduce the sports betting industry<\/strong> will be the ones that already have&nbsp;legal mechanisms in place, like&nbsp;<em>New Jersey, West Virginia, Delaware and Mississippi<\/em>.
